Scope
This policy covers Ribband version 1.0.0, a gift-wrapping planner, and its supplied informational website.
Project information
You may enter project names, box dimensions, paper and ribbon choices, making notes, step progress and gift-label text. These records are stored in the app’s private storage on your device.
Recipient labels
Names, nicknames and messages are optional. Ribband does not upload label drafts or send them to recipients. Use only the personal details you want to keep on this device.
What leaves the app
This version does not transmit project information to a server. Its Android manifest requests no Internet permission. It does not collect analytics or send crash reports.
How information is used
Your saved information is used to restore projects, calculate paper and ribbon estimates, display your palette, record steps and show your label draft.
Accounts
The app has no account registration or sign-in. Your records are associated with this app installation, not a cloud identity.
Permissions
Ribband requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, notification or shared-storage permission. It uses internal app storage.
Storage and retention
Records remain on the device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it. Editing a record replaces that field; archiving keeps a recoverable record inside the app.
Archive and restore
Archiving moves a project out of the active bench. Open the archive and restore it whenever you want. Archiving does not delete its information.
Removing information
You can edit optional personal fields to remove their contents. To remove every record, use Android Settings to clear Ribband’s app storage or uninstall it. Those Android actions can permanently remove your records.
Backup and device changes
Android app backup is disabled for this version. Ribband provides no cloud synchronisation or export feature. A device reset, uninstall or storage loss may remove your projects.
Security
Records use Android’s app-private storage. The app adds no separate password or encryption layer. Device access and operating-system protections affect who can reach your information.
Services and sharing
This version includes no advertising, analytics, purchase or third-party account SDK. The app does not sell or share your project information.
Network and external websites
Core features and the in-app policy are bundled. The separate website can be opened in a browser. A future website host may process ordinary request data, such as IP address and user-agent; its actual hosting practices must be reviewed when deployed.
Website storage
The supplied website includes a paper-size demonstration that runs in the browser. Its source sets no analytics, tracking cookies or form submissions. Calculator values are not saved by the supplied site.
Audience
Ribband is a general craft tool for teen and adult hobbyists. It is not directed specifically to young children. It does not require age, birth date or personal profiles.
